Happy New Year Friends! How were your holidays?? Happy ww3 Eve! ⠀ .⠀ I’m back in Scam York, pushing forward, and reflecting. Lots of goals to tackle, and new heights to reach. My Lyft driver to the airport in Chicago looked in the rear view, and said, “You already know what you want, and what you have to do to get it, I know you’re scared, but don’t hesitate.” It’s my goal this year to feel my fears and still push past them, I feel more than ever that this skill will be critical in continuing to expand my boundaries. I have still yet to make it to the continent, but in 2019 my work did for sure; on Melodie Monrose's trip to Côte d'Ivoire to visit Salomon Kalou’s Kalou Foundation, and my aunt’s long-time friend’s Year of Return journey to Accra. Can you feel the future budding Perhaps 2020 will feature a Door of Return journey for me? - J
