The Hidden Diamond Ring
These are wild times around the world. My last day before sequestration was spent at Andrew the Jeweler’s Studio with Sameer Sadhu putting the finishing touches on his wedding ring. In solid 18k Gold, the ring features white diamonds set into the internal shank, reclaimed from Sameer’s mother’s nose rings. The piece has been in the works since last summer and was planned to debut at their wedding later this spring.
Needless to say the plans had to change and they opted to get married at City Hall in New York before it closed. There was a quick turnaround to perfect the size, but Andrew made it happen! Comforted in a moment of uncertainty by the chance to play a part in big and small moments of beauty and love. Join me in congratulating the beautiful couple.
