Serena Williams Wears KHIRY on the Cover of Teen Vogue
Beyond her dominance as an athlete Serena Williams is an icon making an imprint across the entirety of our culture. She has led conversations on race and women’s health and the treatment of women in the workplace, and she’s a leader that loves to slay a fashion look! This one, styled by Jason Bolden for Lindsay Peoples Wagner's first issue of Teen Vogue was the first time that cornrows had been featured on the publication’s cover; paired beautifully with KHIRY Adisa Drops in Gold Vermeil and Rose Quartz. This is the first time KHIRY has been on a cover of a major magazine!
PS: I first spoke with Jason in 2014 while toting a nascent jewelry collection on a Megabus from Philly to New York, and Lindsay first used KHIRY when she shot Issa Rae for The Cut in 2016. So amazing to see the growth, and so thankful to be along for the journey!
